Sustainable Energy
GNB Garments, along with Baraka Textiles, is transitioning to renewable energy to achieve its climate goal, supporting commitment towards achieving its Science Targets for 2035. Currently 100% of our stitching unit runs on electricity and our aim is to be carbon neutral within the next few years. This will be done through an extensive solar project in Lahore ( approximately 240 KW) which should be completed by 2030.
Building School’s Through Textiles
At GNB Garments, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are essential practices we nurture within and outside our organization, and these are intrinsic elements of our Vision 2030. GNB Garments, in conjunction with Baraka Textiles, has pledged to open 10 schools by 2030. These schools will be funded primarily by these companies or their Directors. The aim is to provide free of cost education to 10,000 children by 2030. This is to combat the growing illiteracy in Pakistan and to make sure that each meter stitched makes Pakistan a better place to live for the future generations.
